Tony TNT Jones, a talented bassist, composer, producer, vocalist, and arranger. He was formerly the musical director for the R&B legendary vocal group "Sister Sledge". Jones got the name TNT while touring with "Sister Sledge" during 1985 thru 1997. Tony TNT Jones, a native of Philadelphia was and still is a major musical contributor of the "Sound of Philadelphia". The "Sound of Philadelphia" was brought to the fore front of the music industry by Philadelphia International Records and Mighty Three Music in which Tony TNT Jones played a major role as a staff songwriter, arranger, and musician on numerous hit records coming from both of these companies. Kenny Gamble, Leon Huff, and Tom Bell award winning label owners, producers, composers, and successful industry executives introduced this Philly Sound to the world.

Tony TNT Jones has produced and composed two new CD's entitled "Beyond A Dream" and "Istanbul Party". Tony TNT Jones is also a participating artist on the R.E.G. Various Artists "JAZZIN' IT " Series-Volume 1 compilation record sampler project. Currently, the tunes Istanbul Party, Song for Istanbul, Melted Dreams, and Pequinita are receiving great radio exposure while generating a big buzz in the European music market. These tunes are starting to get good reviews from the United States and Canada. Tony TNT Jones is equally concerned about community service and he is very involved in supporting the community arts initiative by donating his time to "The Kids Rock the Nation" organization which sponsors guitar giveaways and recognizes talented kids age nine to sixteen who are pursuing a career in the musical arts.
Tony TNT Jones, as a composer has written numerous compositions and produced other outstanding artists throughout his career. Jones joined fellow musicians Herni McMillian, Steve Sampson, Spike Horn, Tony Giles, and Sultan Akbar better known as "Wisdom Stick" on a musical project of the same name, "Wisdom Stick". Jones composed and produced the tune "Wisdom Stick" which he appears as a featured artist. In 2018, Jones was honored and recognized with a Citation from the Philadelphia City Council members and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for his outstanding contributions in music. The Global Entertainment Media Arts (G.E.M.A.) Foundation also honored Tony TNT Jones with their Citation and Seal for his contributions in the educational, musical and cultural arts in America and abroad.
